Mouse sells lovely, reusable shopping bags and beautiful, treasurable accessories for you and your home.
Everything is hand sewn, painted and embroidered in a happy, light-filled studio at home in Manchester, England. Nothing is mass produced and nobody is exploited, but a lot of tea is drunk.
All bags and accessories are limited editions, and every one is very slightly different. They are designed and made to a very high standard with great attention to detail.
Postage and Packing
NB Postage and Packing is currently free to the UK.
Postage and Packing charges are as low as possible and will be added to your order at checkout. If you are ordering more than one item you will only pay the full amount for the most expensive item. Everything else will be charged at a discounted rate. You can check your running total by updating your cart.
Mouse is based in Manchester, England. I use First Class Post within the UK, and Airmail to Europe and the Rest of the World. This insures your goods against loss, but I can't track the parcels this way.
Orders to the UK and Europe are insured for their full value, but if you live outside Europe your Airmail order is insured up to the value of £36. If your order comes to more than this and you would like me to take out extra cover, I will be glad to do so using the 'International Signed For' service, which adds £3.50 to the total cost. Please contact me if you would like to use this service.
Delivery Times
I aim to process your order as quickly as possible.
UK orders should arrive within four working days.
European orders should be there within five working days.
Orders outside Europe should get to you in seven working days.
If you haven't received your delivery and you think you ought to have done, let me know!
Payment
Buying from the website is as safe as it is possible to be. The online shop is hosted by Big Cartel, who use PayPal to process all payments swiftly and securely.
However, you don't need a PayPal account to shop with Mouse. You can pay by credit or debit card or of course you can use your existing PayPal account if you have one.
All prices are in United Kingdom pounds. If you are shopping from outside the UK, PayPal will automatically convert this to your own currency at checkout, but if you would like to check the price while you shop, here's a link to a reliable currency converter
Returns and refunds
If you change your mind about anything you buy from the website, don't worry. You can return the item within 14 days of purchase, unused and unmarked, and I'll refund your money securely through PayPal.
However, you'll need to pay for your own return postage and make sure you retain evidence of posting in case it goes missing.
Unfortunately I can't refund the original postage and packing charge or the cost of the PayPal transaction.
Local Collection
If you live in the Withington area and would like to save on postage by collecting your purchase, that's fine. You can do one of two things: either checkout as usual, making sure you specify local collection in the little comment box on the PayPal page, andme'll refund your postage. Or, if this online shopping business is all too much, just contact us with details of what you'd like to order, and I'll sort it out for you that way. You can do this easily via the 'Contact' page.
